Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has selected Azman Air, a Nigerian indigenous airline company to airlift the its Umrah pilgrims during the next lesser Hajj exercise.
The agreement was reached when 7-man delegation from the state pilgrims welfare agency met with the management of the airline, led by Accountable Manager, Alhaji Hadi Abdulmunaf.
The delegation from Kaduna comprised the director of operations, Abubakar Alhassan, the newly appointed Special Assistant to the agency’s Executive Secretary, Salman Ahmed, the head of ICT Abubakar Usman and other management staff.
BizPoint understands that the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency is among the states pilgrim’s welfare agencies licensed by NAHCON to carry out umrah operations in the country.
In his brief remark, he head of the delegations, Alhassan said the “choice of Azman Air was as a result of success recorded by the airline in airlifting Kaduna state 2022 Hajj pilgrims.”
