A Katsina citizen By name Abubakar Karare has been in detention for the past five days due to a social media post he made.
Karare’s detention by the police we learnt was on the orders of a Katsina oil magnet and owner of Danmarna filling stations who feel offended by the harmless post.

Karare’s right has been violated as testified by a KATSINA based human rights group as he was innocently arrested and detained for days without trial on a trump up charge of defamation of character.
