President Muhammadu Buhari has given assent to Nigeria Start-up Bill 2022, which is now an Act.
Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Professor Isa Pantami revealed this to the press shortly after the President appended his signature on the bill.
Professor Pantami said the new Act will come into effect with so many economic benefits for the country and explained that the bill was the outcome of engagements with young innovators and start-ups across the country.

He added that there are provisions for a minimum investment fund of ten billion naira and other incentives that will be disbursed to start-ups, to encourage them.
