Access Bank Plc, through the Accesspreneur program in partnership with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), has empowered 50 NYSC corps members across 5 states that have exhibited and presented exceptional business ideas with N15 million as grant to pursue their dreams.
This was disclosed by the bank’s Assistant General Manager, Aminu Inuwa during the disbursement of the grant to the winners, held in Kusalla NYSC orientation camp in Kano.
According to him, a total of N15 million was given out to 10 corps members from each of the five states that emerged as lucky winners of a entrepreneurial business idea contest organized by the Bank for corps members in Kano, Oyo, Kogi, Edo and Abuja respectably with the star winners received N1million each to pursue their business dreams.

He explained that each state is given N3 million with the first winner going home with N1 million to encourage young entrepreneurs to establish and actualize their business ideas for them to be more productive and useful to their society and their communities adding that the Accessprenuer competition, has impacted the lives of over 50 corps members in the 5 selected states through series of business establishment training among other business development strategies.
In her address the state NYSC coordinator Hajiya Aisha Tata-Mohammed represented by the camp director Mr Ben Akpor urged the winners of the contest to effectively utilize what they have gotten from the bank as well as to strongly pursue their dreams of becoming successful business personalities in their lives.
Speaking after being declared as the winner of a N1 million grant from Kano orientation camp Mss Onyia chinecherem Maryianno expressed gratitude to the bank for the financial support to actualize her dream as a young entrepreneur.
