The second edition of Dogaro da Kai Conference, a first Hausa annual business conference in Kano state has been held in the state.
BizPoint reports that youths thronged the auditorium of Centre for Democratic Research, Mambayya House on Saturday to benefit from business ideas and knowledge shared by some experienced business young men and women at the conference.
Speaking at the event, one of the organisers, Badamasi Aliyu Abdullahi, said the programme was organised to inspire startups and Small and Medium Enterprise operators in the state.

According to Abdullahi, the conference gives opportunity to startup entrepreneurs to get business ideas and knowledge from the already accomplished business people, aimed at improving their socioeconomic life for the overall economic development of the society.
He added that the conference was to provide a platform where young people, especially startup business operators can learn about businesses, networks and build collaboration.
“It was also to unravel local business opportunities to the teaming youths.
“This conference was also to provide a platform where experienced enterpreneurs and industrialists will share their experience with young people as a source of inspiration towards their business career.
“The conference was well attended by youths in the state. This is the second edition of the conference which the maiden edition was held last year.
“In this time of economic crunch, this kind of conference is very important as it teaches startup and SMEs operators the nitty gritty of business, which help the society improve its economy,” Abdullahi added.
