The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has called on intending pilgrims for the 2023 Hajj exercise, especially those who have deposited N1.5 million in Hajj Savings Scheme, to immediately increase the amount to N2.5 million.
This was contained in a statement by the Deputy Director of Education and Enlightenment, Hajiya Hadiza Abbas Sanusi, who doubles as the spokesperson of the agency, on Thursday.
She called on the intending pilgrims to complete the amount to N2.5 million before the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON, announced the exact fare for Hajj 2023.
She emphasized that people should pay the money before April 5th.
In the same vein, Hadiza also called on the pilgrims, who are yet to submit their passports to the agency to immediately do so for the Hajj processing.
