The governor of Kano state, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje will flag off the inaugural flight operations indigenous airline, Rano Air in Kano state.
The airline, in a tersed statement on Thursday said the flag off ceremony would take place on Sunday May 7, at the domestic terminal of the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano at 10:00 AM.
The airline, owned by Kano-born petroleum business mogul, Auwalu Abdullahi Rano, popularly known as AA Rano, also announced that commercial flights from Abuja and Kano to the various cities of Nigeria would commence immediately thereafter.

“The management of Rano Air wishes to inform the flying public that its flight operations will be flagged off by the Governor of Kano State, Dr. Umar Abdullahi Ganduje, on Sunday 7th May, 2023 at the domestic terminal of the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano at 10:00 AM.
“Commercial flights Abuja and Kano to the various cities of Nigeria will commence immediately thereafter,” part of the statement said.
