President Bola Tinubu will begin his official duty as Nigeria’s President with a meeting with Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Godwin Emefiele; the Group Chief Executive Officer, GCEO, Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, Mele Kyari.
Although the purpose of the meeting was not officially disclose, DAILY NIGERIAN reports that the meeting would not be unconnected with the ongoing crisis occasioned by the fuel subsidy removal which has since sent Nigerians into panic mode.
Tinubu arrived at the Presidential Villa on Tuesday, and was received at the forecourt of his office by Vice President Kashim Shettima and some other senior government officials.
Others in the forecourt included Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila and the Permanent Secretary of the State House, Tijjani Umar, former Lagos Commissioner for Finance, Wale Edun; Dele Alake; James Faleke.
