Police have dispersed some suspected thugs who attempted to vandalize and loot a plaza, containing shops built by the immediate past administration at the defunct Triumph Publishing Company in Fagge Local Government Area of Kano state.
The incident occurred on Sunday when the thugs took advantage of the ongoing demolition of some structures by the present administration to loot the plaza, which is yet to be open for business.
BizPoint gathered that the hoodlums had already invaded the premises of the building and started looting before prompt intervention of security operatives foiled the attack.
This newspaper recall that the state governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf has vowed to demolish illegal structures erected at government own lands by the immediate past administration of Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
