The franchise are of Kano Electricity Distribution Company, KEDCO, comprising Kano, Katsina and Jigawa will witness improvement in power supply today (Monday), August 28.
This is because the distribution company has gotten a power supply of 210 Megawatt to share to its franchise area.
In its daily update of power allocation, posted on its verified twitter handle and monitored by BizPoint on Monday morning, KEDCO said it had received as high as 210MW.

The tweet, titled Daily Load Allocation also showed that national generation stood at 4,250MW on Monday, while DIsCOs, across the country received 3,517MW today.
KEDCO, in the information, stated that the expected load allocation for its franchise area is 300MW, out of which it received 210MW.

However, BizPoint understands that the power supply had increased at some areas in the franchise between Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday as there are lights currently at many places around the Kano city as at the time of filing this report.
