The franchise are of Kano Electricity Distribution Company, KEDCO, comprising Kano, Katsina and Jigawa will witness improvement in power supply today (Friday), August 1st.
This is because the distribution company has gotten a power supply of 209 Megawatt to share to the franchise area.
In its daily update of power allocation, posted on its verified twitter handle and monitored by BizPoint on Friday morning, KEDCO said it had received as high as 209MW.

The tweet, titled; Daily Load Allocation also showed that national generation stood at 4,140MW on Friday, while DIsCOs, across the country received 3,505MW today.

KEDCO, in the tweet, stated that the expected load allocation for its franchise area is 300MW, out of which it received 209MW.
However, BizPoint understands that the power supply had increased at some areas in the franchise throughout the week
