The franchise area of Kano Electricity Distribution Company, KEDCO, comprising Kano, Katsina and Jigawa will witness improvement in power supply today (Tuesday), September 5th.
This is because the distribution company has gotten a power supply of 225 Megawatt to share to the franchise area.
In its daily update of power allocation, posted on its verified twitter handle and monitored by BizPoint on Tuesday, KEDCO said it had received as high as 225MW as at 8:05am.

However, BizPoint understands that the power supply had increased at many areas in the franchise area throughout the week.
This newspaper has also learnt that the supply has been dropped, but this might not be unconnected with the ongoing two-day warning strike as the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC had shutdown the KEDCO office.
