Electricity distribution has been restored in Kano state following the suspension of strike by electricity workers’ union.
BizPoint reports that on Monday, the union shut down the headquarters of KEDCO, demanding for remittance of their pension for six years.
In the course of the strike, the union shut down some 11KVA lines, throwing the Kano metropolis ake its environs into blackout.

But in a statement on Wednesday, KEDCO said, “Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) is pleased to announce the full restoration of power supply and other electricity services, after a temporary interruption due to a union strike.
