Kano Pillars FC has debunk allegations that the club has not paid Technical Adviser, Usman Abdallah salary for three months.
In a statement Saturday by the club’s Media and Communication Directorate, the report, said to be aired by a radio station in Kano, “is not only misleading but also lacks a factual basis,” the Sai Masu Gida said.
The statement explained that Abdallah was officially appointed as the Technical Adviser of Kano Pillars on August 6 while “we are currently in the second week of October, it is clear that he has only been with the club for two months.

” The radio station’s claim of a three-month delay in salary payments is, therefore, impossible and demonstrates a lack of due diligence on their part.
“Kano Pillars noted with concern a recent social media post by a renowned radio station in Kano, falsely alleging that the club has not paid its Technical Adviser, Usman Abdallah, for three months. This statement .
“For clarity, Usman Abdallah was officially appointed as the Technical Adviser of Kano Pillars on August 6, 2024. As we are currently in the second week of October, it is clear that he has only been with the club for two months. The radio station’s claim of a three-month delay in salary payments is, therefore, impossible and demonstrates a lack of due diligence on their part.
“Kano Pillars FC has a long and proud history of paying all its players, technical staff, and employees promptly. Since the Kano State Government began overseeing payroll during the administration of Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, all payments for players, staff, and coaches have been integrated into the state’s payroll system, along with other state employees.
” As part of standard procedures, all newly appointed staff must complete data capturing with the state government before they can receive their salaries. This process is currently underway for both the newly signed players and the Technical Adviser.
“It is disappointing that a reputable media outlet would disseminate such misinformation without first verifying the facts. Nevertheless, Kano Pillars FC remains undeterred in its mission to perform well in the ongoing 2024/25 football season as we aim to restore the club’s former glory.
