Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, has donated the sum of N1 million to aid Nasarawa State Old Boys Football Club’s transportation to Birnin-Kebbi for their match against their Kebbi State counterparts.
This was contained in a statement by Media and Communication Directorate, Kano Pillars FC on Sunday.
According to the statement, Musa made the contribution on Saturday morning at Lafia City Stadium while addressing the team, just before Kano Pillars FC’s final preparations for their Nigeria Premier Football League 2024/25 season Match Day 9 clash against Nasarawa United, set for Sunday.

The Nigeria FIFA World Cup all-time top scorer expressed fond memories of Nasarawa United’s role in relegating his former club, Juth FC, and humorously noted it’s “the perfect time to settle old scores.”
Since rejoining Kano Pillars, Musa has been pivotal, directly contributing to 95% of the club’s goals, including a stellar performance against Rangers Int’l in their recent 4-3 victory.
The Sai Masu Gida looks to build on their previous success on the road as they face Nasarawa United in Lafia on Sunday at 3:00 PM.
