Residents of Kano, Jigawa and Katsina states, the franchise area of Kano Electricity Distribution Company, KEDCO have witnessed improved power supply.
BizPoint reports that the DisCo on Sunday issued statement on why the franchise area witnessed epileptic for about a week, citing drop in national grid which allocated as low as 63MW only for Kano, Katsina and Jigawa.
But, in its daily update of allocation, posted on its verified twitter handle and monitored by BizPoint on Monday evening, KEDCO said it had received as high as 181MW on Monday.

The tweet, titled Daily Load Allocation also showed that national generation stood at 3,980MW on Monday, while DIsCOs, across the country received 3,263MW today.
KEDCO, in the information, KEDCO stated that the expected load allocation is 300MW but received 181MW.
However, BizPoint understands that the power supply had increased drastically between Sunday and Monday.
