The Kano State Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has extended warm congratulations to the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II on the occasion of his 65th birthday.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Governor’s Spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, on Friday.
The governor described him as a visionary leader whose wisdom, courage and commitment to justice continue to inspire generations.
On behalf of the Government and the good people of Kano State, Governor Yusuf celebrated the Emir’s remarkable contributions to nation-building, education, economic development and the preservation of Kano’s rich cultural and religious heritage.
He noted that Emir Sanusi’s lifetime of service has earned him admiration both within Nigeria and across the international community.
The Governor praised the Emir for his unwavering dedication to promoting peace, unity and good governance, as well as his consistent advocacy for education, women and youth empowerment, sustainable development and economic reforms.
He said the monarch’s leadership has remained a beacon of hope and progress for the people of Kano and beyond.
Governor Yusuf prayed to Almighty Allah to bless His Highness with good health, long life and continued wisdom as he leads the Kano Emirate and contributes to the development of the state and the nation.
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to working closely with the traditional institution in advancing policies and programmes that will improve the lives of the people and strengthen Kano’s position as a centre of excellence.
